Q:How long should I charge a picture light?
A:lights pictures have a long lifespan—many years, in fact. The type of light source a picture light fixture uses will determine how frequently it needs to be replaced. At SEEDIQ Led Art Light, the integrated LEDs we use have a conservative 70,000-hour rating, which equates to 35 years of use at five hours per day!

Q:is the led lighting a stark white or a natural light?? (if I'm making sense) I just don't want it being a big difference to the lighting I have already in my home
A:Hello - Every LED light is different. If you're curious about the color of the lighting, look for the color temperature information. For this picture light, it is 2800K warm light, 4000K natural light, 6000K white light. We have an article that explains color temperature more in depth. You can find it here.
Q:Do you have any picture lights that are motion activated?
A:We currently do not offer motion activated picture lights.
Q:Does the remote use RF or IR to control the light?
A:The remote control to this picture light uses an IR signal.
Q:Can you control more than one light with a single remote?

Q:My art work is framed with glass over it. Can I use a picture light to light it up?
A:You can use the picture light with glass framed pictures as well. But note it may cast a reflection and it will be something you may have to just try to see if it fits your needs.
Q:Can anyone share a realistic amount of time the batteries will power the light before having to be changed?
A:The manufacturer lists the picture light having an 80 hour average lifespan at brightest setting, 12 hours on/2 hours off. But, it generally depends on the manufacturer of battery and how often it is used.
Q:How does it fasten to wall?
A:We fastened it to the back of the frame with screws - our wall was brick. It could be mounted on the wall with dry wall screws, the frame would need to be flat on the wall under it for proper lighting
Q:How do you change the batteries in the lamp?
A:The battery compartment is located on the underside of the lamp.
Q:How does the the battery pack attach?
A:The batteries are housed right in the light itself. There is nothing additional.
Q:How long do batteries last?
A:Hi - It will really depend on the brand of battery, but this will have an approximate 80 hour average lifespan at the brightest setting.
Q:Can this be attached to an unframed canvas?
A:I would not recommended doing this. The wooden stretcher bars on most commercial canvases are made of very weak, light pine. The lamp housing is very heavy because it is filled with batteries from end to end. The weight of the batteries and their leverage at right angles to the paining could pull the screws out of the wood. If you wish an alternative, I'd recommend replacing the weak, pine stretcher bars with come substantial wood pieces like oak.
